A quick update for our users that there has been an update to the Loadzen Recorder to incorporate more functionality and fix a few bugs and that we are working to fix the recent outages in testing availability.
Main changes in this version
- Support for PUT and DELETE HTTP Requests (throughout Loadzen)
- Fixed common issue with domain missing from recorded scenario actions
The additional support for PUT and DELETE requests is to give the whole load testing infrastructure the capacity to test single-page apps and dynamic webapps that want to load test RESTful interfaces.
Note you will need the interface to do the requesting for you, there is currently no support for manual entry of Scenario Actions though this may be added in future.
Recent outage
Given the ongoing issues with Amazon AWS outages (the main service provider to Loadzen) we have had some tests failing to run. We are looking to address this problem with some additional features to ensure uptime, these should be incorporated into the next Loadzen infrastructure update.
As always, if you;d like to share your thoughts and feedback with us here at Loadzen, drop us a message on our contact form or get in touch with us via twitter.
