Martin Buhr – CEO / CTO

Martin has been working in digital for over 9 years, having worked across all disciplines of web development as well as project management; he recently left his role as Creative Director of Technology at Reading Room to work as a Technical Architect at LBi.

No stranger to start-ups, Martin started his career by launching Eurofreelancer.com – a European freelance skills marketplace, and later Jive.ly – the social network, a twitter clone which received good press on TechCrunch UK, Techcrunch US and Digg. Both enterprises are now closed yet have given Martin extensive experience in the pitfalls of technology development and managing an effective start-up.

Jively and Loadzen are his third start-up, started as a hobby project to develop a cloud-based load testing system and now flourishing into a fully-featured web platform. Martin developed all site assets, code, designs and interfaces.

Amanda Skipper – CFO / COO

Amanda has extensive experience in the digital and technology sector, having worked with LogicaCMG, LBi and Reading Room. Currently Head of Recruitment at Lonely Planet, Amanda focuses on building Lonely Planet's brand in the technical community as well as ensuring they always hire the best a brightest for their online team.

Originally from New Zealand, Amanda has extensive experience in managing teams within technology driven businesses. With a focus on operational and relationship management as well as experience in accounting and finance, she brings a solid commercial background and industry knowledge to Loadzen.
